Community Task Force Rubric
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Community Task Force Member for the Resilient Futures Initiative - a 2025 campaign to build local capacity to plan for, adapt to, and mitigate extreme weather and climate pollution in New Mexico. This is the Community Task Force Rubric. Please review the methods and rubric below to see how project staff will select Community Task Force Members.
Recruitment:
Project staff advertise the Community Task Force opportunity prominently on the website and during the public press conference. Complete.
Project staff conduct targeted email and in-person outreach to frontline community-serving organizations to notify them of the opportunity. In progress.
Application Scoring:
Applications will be received by Pland Collaborative, who will remove any identifiable information and submit to the City of Albuquerque Staff for application scoring using the first five rows of the rubric below.
The 8 highest scoring candidates will automatically move on for interviews, the remaining applicants will be selected using a stratified sampling technique factoring in location, race, age, and gender to a maximum of 20 applicants to move on to interviews. See below for a rubric.
Interviews:
After passing the first screen, applicants will be scheduled for an interview to finalize their rankings for consideration using the last two rows in the rubric below. The 5 highest-scoring candidates will automatically move on to selection. The remaining applicants will be selected using a stratified sampling technique factoring in location, race, age, and gender to a maximum of 20 Task Force members and a minimum of 10.
